Welcome - Feel free to look around.

News For 2002 (updated 04/29/2003)

bulletThe Canova-McLatchie Family Reunion was in our neck of the woods in July 2002.  We enjoyed a long weekend at Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend, WA.  We even overheard Ramon and Laurel volunteer for the next reunion  (...heh, heh).
bulletMadeline Carol Kross ("Maddie"), our first grandchild, was born to Kate and Stephen on March 30th, 2002 and she is the most beautiful grandchild in the world.  Ok, maybe we're a little biased, but check the Photo Album and see if you agree.  Some of Kate and Stephen's wedding photos are still there too.
bulletLast April/May Joy and I got away to a three-week vacation to Northern Italy.  We posted some of our memories in the Photo Album.
bulletOn Christmas day 2002, our son Christopher asked his sweetheart, Krysta Kjorlaug (pronounced "Chore-Log"), to marry him and she said "Absolutely Yes" (...of course).  They haven't set a date yet, but want to say their vows on a Caribbean cruise some time in 2004.  We'll send out more details as we get them.  Chris is doing well in his career with the State of Washington and is trying to finish his degree by taking college courses in his spare time and has also started a part-time computer consulting business.  Krysta enjoys her work as a sales associate with The Bon Marche Department stores. Many of you may remember Krysta from the Family Reunion.  She's a sweetheart and loves Chris completely.  We are happy to welcome her to our family.
bulletJames is still living "amongst friends" (and family) in Seattle, Issaquah, and Olympia, and is trying to set up his own Game Center business in Olympia.  He makes his money by trading game cards on eBay through his business "Oriongames.net".  He is a master in many strategy card games and has a wide circle of friends in the card-gaming business (Magic, Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Poke-Mon, etc.).  He's also an expert in organizing and directing card tournaments.  In fact, he is a certified tournament director for Decipher, Inc., a world renowned card gaming company.  We are proud of him, and hope his business takes off.
