Shopping & Relaxing Whale Watching Friday Harbor Hurricane Ridge We had only an hour to enjoy Friday Harbor because so much time was spent with the Orcas, but we had a great seafood lunch, listened to some big-band jazz, and even shopped around a little.
On our return trip we all got a bit snoozy...
... everyone except Maddie Kross, she was full of energy all the way back to Port Townsend...
... on our return trip the Captain spied another group of Orcas so we stopped to take another look...
The day of whale-watching was fantastic and exhausting. We all met again that evening for dinner and a birthday celebration for Laurel Emminger. The next day, Monday, we went on a sight-seeing expedition to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic Mountains. |
