Venice

We turned in our car and immediately felt at home in pedestrian friendly Venice.

When I took this picture, I didn't realize the "Bridge of Sighs" was in the background.

After four days in Venice we flew home through New York to Seattle. It was a great vacation, but also a bit exhausting. Next time we may just pick a place and stay put for a few weeks.
